On Saturday, July 21st last, Charlotte travelled to Atlanta to play both local teams in their last two games of the season. Unfortunately, they did not have a full complement of players, and they decided to forfeit the matches as a result. Consequently, both Na Fianna and Clan na nGael picked up full points, which leaves them deadlocked at the top of table with the league finale on July 28th to come. Two spirited challenge matches were played with outstanding displays of athleticism and skill by players from to all three squads. Na Fianna played in the first challenge match, which resulted in a one point victory for the Charlotte squad, who were ably assisted by some fine performances from a number of Clan na nGael players.
